Perhaps it depends on your settings at the top of the window. With Prefix, 1
doc set (10.6 core library), and one language (objective-C) I find that the
search reads my mind after a couple of keystrokes.

Plus of course there's always the option of starting with
option-double-click or command-option-double-click on the relevant term in
your code.

The docs window still has some imperfections, no doubt, but in my view it's
way better in 3.2 than at any time in the past. m.
