You can. I was unclear from your message what target you wanted to add to what project.

You can have both targets. But target templates are limited things, and I assume that RealBASIC plug-ins are complicated enough that it's unwise trying to build a plug-in target from scratch; whereas adding a BSD tool target to an existing project is pretty easy. Therefore you should start with a new RealBASIC project from their template, and add your BSD target. Voilà: a project with both targets.
