Hello List,
I deem this a "Tools Question", so I am posting it here...
I am trying to do a release build of an iPhone app, and I always get the warning:
"Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate. (-19011)", and I can not upload the app to iTunes Connect.
* I am using Xcode 3.2.2 (although there is a seed version on the same machine)
* I have removed all certificates and profiles, and re-installed just the necessary ones (one certificate, one profile)
* I have double, triple and quadruple checked the Code Sign settings, as well as the keychain.
* codesign -vvvv says: "valid on disk - satisfies its Designated Requirement"
* I have tried using the same profiles and certificates on a different machine, with the same result.
* I have cleared the Xcode caches
* I have created a trivial project from scratch: Same problem
* Someone else was able to build the app with his profile and certificate without issue.
What else can I do to remedy this issue? What can I check, what can I replace?
What does this error mean? There is no man page or help info on "Validate"
Any pointers are appreciated!
Alex
