Yes, I agree, although I think there are many who would welcome this feature who have (probably wisely) chosen not to speak.  It's the way the OP was treated by 'the list' that I didn't like.  And perhaps a feeling of "don't ask, don't get".  And Chris's contribution has given me hope...
