I would like to inspect the build commands, but don't see how to do that in Xcode 3.2.3. There used to be a little button at the bottom of the Build window that you could toggle for this. Where did it go?
(Not looking at Xcode just at the moment, so this may be inaccurate...)
Look under the toolbar and see a bar of labels, the last of which is probably "Issues only." These are pulldown menus. Click on that last one, and select "All messages." That puts all the steps into the list.
If you hover over any of these steps, you will see a little lines-of-text button at the right. Clicking it will reveal the transcript fragment for that step.
There's a command to copy or open a file with the full transcript. I think you get at it by control- (right-) clicking any item in the list.
