GCC 4.2 complains about 10.4 SDK but…

  • Subject: GCC 4.2 complains about 10.4 SDK but…

…I'm not using the 10.4 sdk. I've added another target to an old project of mine and it refused to compile any file because I have GCC 4.2 chosen. It gives the error:
GCC 4.2 is not compatible with the Mac OS X 10.4 SDK (file main.cpp)

But i've checked dozens of time that 10.6 is chosen as the base sdk and that I have the right target chosen when I compile. The base SDK is set to 10.6 in both the project and target settings, for all configurations. If I make a new project and attempt to duplicate the problem target I can compile with no problems.

I've never been so frustrated with Xcode; I've been screwing around with this for half that day.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks,
 Philip
