I've had a similar issue, but I can't remember exactly how I solved
it...try:
1) rm your build/ directories for the project in question.
2) rm the application from the device
3) clean all
4) restart your mac
Build the application to device and see if it works?

but the same app runs on an iPod touch. (Unfortunately, this device has an older OS and I can't actually do much debugging.)
I've tried another app, and get the same results. (One I had debugged in the past.)
The app runs fine directly from Springboard. I've removed my development profile and rebooted the device. Nothing seems to help.
Any suggestions?
