Attaching to a remote executable w/o building

Hi,

I have an Xcode project that I need to build with darwinbuild. The executable gets launched from another root process, and I need to use "remote" debugging as root to attach to it. Is there an way to attach from Xcode w/o building an executable?

I can not build it from Xcode with a composite SDK, as I get an crash at the first invocation of the C++ standard lib - the (as far as I can tell) with identical options created darwinbuild executable works fine.

TIA;
