Except I get other messages (yours, for instance, sent with
Mail.app) that are not wrapped. The post in which the URL
originally appeared, however, was pretty severely wrapped.
That’s because his message was sent in quoted-printable (RFC 1521)
format=flowed (RFC 3676/2646) form, which is a post-1990 innovation
the list server doesn't have to care about; long lines are divided
into chunks of up to 76 characters which are reassembled by the
receiving mailer for display.
FWIW, I'm still using Tiger's Mail.app (in text-only mode) and
received the link just fine. Wrapped into three lines _and_ clickable.
