Oh. Well, if I had just read the release notes I might have known that!
I guess we have some sort of multitasking-ish thing going on here, which is pretty cool. I suspect this is not the forum to discuss or comment on such features, but it does make me wonder just how much of an app's state is actually preserved when it "goes to sleep". My experiments indicate some of the state is preserved even if you quit and restart the Simulator, which I find pretty interesting.
