I like having very fast turnaround time from making a change to seeing my change running in my app, so having to keep telling gdb "yes, I really do want you to run my program, that's why I told you to run it" gets a bit old. Maybe there's a way to circumvent the need for that step?
That is not expected, and suggests that there's something unusual about your configuration. Do you see the same behavior if you create a new empty project?
Launching with GDB with breakpoints disabled was made much faster with Xcode 3.2, and should provide comparable performance to launching without the debugger.
