Carriage return problem in non-editor fields, e.g. Open Quickly dialog

  • Subject: Carriage return problem in non-editor fields, e.g. Open Quickly dialog

I have somehow messed up my keybindings since a while ago, which shows itself in that carriage return does not work as expected in input fields in Xcode, e.g. in the Open Quickly dialog, or the Group & Files table.  E.g when enabling a text input field to rename a file, when finished renaming and I'm pressing a carriage return, I would expect just that the new name would be set and the input field would go out of editing mode. Instead, It just inserts a newline in the input field. This also happens in other various input text fields such as Build settings, Open Quickly dialog.

As I said It probably has something to do with my keybindings, which I manage in a .pbxkeys file instead of from inside the Xcode GUI. I've tried comparing my pbxkeys to the one generated when resetting to default Xcode keybindings. I've tried matching the bindings for insertNewline:  and insertNewlineIgnoringFieldEditor:  but it doesn't seem to be working...

I have also verified that this problem only affects Xcode, and no input textfields anywhere else in the OS.

Thanks / Christoffer

I've attached my keybindings file.
