The symbols in question are declared in the anonymous namespace and, therefore, global, but due to the bug they are not unique. I have not found an acceptable workaround and for other reasons I'm stuck using the GCC 4.0 compiler, but I would appreciate hearing if you do find a solution.

I'm using gcc 4.0 for all projects concerned. And I don't understand how it's OK in one project but not the other. Is there a compiler setting that would cause more name mangling to occur or something like that, which lets it work like it's supposed to work?
