Having had the experience of getting
my first Mac ever and then learning to get a Linux daemon to compile, run,
install, talk to my hardware, and mass deploy in the last 18 months, I
think this would be a fantastic feature to have. I definitely had
some pain figuring out if I could use the Xcode debugger before I learned
how to have Xcode replace my makefile system, but most of the trick was
related to getting the process to run as root.
