Missing UUID from iTunes 9.2?

  • Subject: Missing UUID from iTunes 9.2?

I'm trying to provide a distribution profile to a teammate and it seems that the devices' UUID are no longer displayed in iTunes. If my teammate doesn't have Xcode, how am I supposed to find the UUID of his phone?

I tried creating and ad-hoc distribution provisioning profile from the iPhone Provisioning Portal but it insists on me selecting at least one device, even though it says that the choice of a device is optional.

The "How To" mentions using iTunes "7.7 or later" to get the UUID but it has clearly not been updated since iTunes 9.2.

What can I do?

Thanks in advance!

-Laurent.
