Xcode/gcc iPhone Autovectorization?

hi-

Xcode 3.2.3 says:

GCC-4.2 Features Not Available in LLVM-GCC-4.2:

Auto vectorization

ouch!

If I turn on Auto vectorization then does gcc (non-LLVM) autovectorize loops for armv6 (no thumb) and armv7 ... using the VFP perhaps (does iPhone 3GS have a VFP, I assume the iPhone 4 does)? or am I asking for too much (ie: I have to hand code VFP - noh!)?

thanks!-

-lance
