Strange crash on bp running 10.4

I got a report from a user running my saying the app crashed on launch. I don't have a pb running 10.4, so I'm hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this error.
The error in the console is this:

I'm trying to maintain 10.4 compatibility for my app, so I try to be careful about only using the 10.4 API, but on occasion, some things slip by. Can someone enlighten me as to what might be causing this?
