Hi list,
I pretty new to XCode and SubVersion.
I did how ever try to find the answer in the archives and online, but I'm unable to find my answer.
I added the first version of my CoreData model to the repository, this works, great.
However, I just created a new data model version and tried to add this version to the repository, and now the #$#% is hitting the fan...
It will no longer add or commit the data model files the error is as follows:
Error: 200009 (Illegal target for the requested operation) Description: Commit failed (details follow):
Error: 200009 (Illegal target for the requested operation) Description: 'datamodellocation.xcdatamodeld' is not under version control and is not part of the commit, yet its child 'datamodellocation.xcdatamodel' is part of the commit..
Is it possible that this is caused because the "old" version of the data model is named modelname 2.xcdatamodel, and that according to SubVersion the file in the repository is modelname.xcdatamodel?
I've read several posts where people state that they set the svn client to use the .xcdatamodel as a binary type.
But I'm unable to find how I set this property. The manual of SVN is not very helpful. It just mentions that it can be done, but not how.
Does someone have an example of the line I have to add to ~/.subversion/config?
Thanks in advance
