Hey Stephen -
Ibtool only ever writes out data when explicitly instructed to. You
might try adding something like "--write pathToOutputFile.xib" to
the end of the invocation. Also, the input file and output file can
be the same.
Excellent, works perfectly now. Thanks Jon.

Hello all, first post to this list. Hope this is the best place to
address my question.
I'm in a situation where it would be very beneficial to update
certain class names in a .xib file. ibtool --convert looks ideal.
Something like this..
ibtool --convert AS_ClassName-AS_ExtraPrefix_ClassName file.xib
..but invoking ibtool this way does nothing it seems although it
spends several seconds looking like it is doing something.
Anything wrong that I just can't see with the above?
Thanks,
Stephen
