InfoPlistChecker is a completely rewritten successor to my previous
program PlistChecker. It is a programmer's tool to look for errors and
omissions in the Info.plist file. It is based on rules and
recommendations in Apple documentation. In some cases, the documentation
is unclear or contradictory, so take the results with a grain of salt.
This is specific to Info.plist, unlike plutil.
To use InfoPlistChecker, drop an application bundle or naked Info.plist
file on the InfoPlistChecker icon. InfoPlistChecker displays its
findings in a text window.
This version of InfoPlistChecker requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later. It is
copyrighted freeware.
