Hard links or other funny stuff in DocSets?

  • Subject: Hard links or other funny stuff in DocSets?

When I have Retrospect back up some 10.6 machines, it seems to be taking a very long time. The crucial factor seems to be something about DocSets. Specifically SnowLeopard.CoreReference.docset.

(Retrospect isn't even backing anything up, but it creates a 'snapshot' of what's on the disk, and something about this DocSet is taking tons of time. Backing up all of my /Users takes less time and the snapshot is generated quickly.)

So in hopes of getting some information I can pass on to the Retrospect people, is there anything funky in the bowels of a DocSet that might be confusing Retrospect? Hard links or something?

Thanks,

Jon
