When editing a Core Data Mapping Model, the menu Design ▸ Mapping Model contains items "Update Source Model" & "Update Destination Model". These are explained in "Xcode Mapping Tool for Core Data" as:
"If the source or destination model changes, you can update the mapping model by choosing Design > Mapping Model > Update Source Model or Update Destination Model respectively."
So, I change the source or destination model by adding an attribute to an entity, and save the file. Then, upon returning to the model, I click the respective "Update…" menu item I expect that my new attribute should appear in the model. But it does not; I must add it manually. "Update" apparently does something because my model document becomes dirty. But "Undo" says merely "Undo" :(
Given that these menu items do not parse and find new attributes in my models, I wonder what *do* they do?
