You can use Xcode's Get Info command on the file and set the line
ending there. It might help to cycle through the options to make
sure it's been changed and then changed back.
Also, you can use the free TextWrangler editor to adjust a file's
line endings. It's a little more obvious/clear in that GUI.
There's Edit > Document Options to set (or just check) the line
endings used and Text > Normalize Line Endings to force them to that
standard.
