Where is my Untitled file?

  • Subject: Where is my Untitled file?

I had a project open in Xcode 3.2.3. I created a new, empty file (Untitled) and pasted some text into it. At some point I closed the project file and the Untitled file's window closed along with it.

I realized that I hadn't saved the file, so I reopened the project file, but the Untitled window was nowhere to be seen. It wasn't in the Window menu either. The only way I could get Xcode to acknowledge the existence of the Untitled file was to quit, at which point it asked if I wanted to save the file. Am I missing some special setting or is this a crack through which some bit of reasonable functionality has fallen?
