When I used SVN with Xcode 2.5 it all went very well.
But my experience with Xcode 3.1.4 (on MacOS X.5 Leopard) is very different. The only file in the checked out project for which I see version history is the Xcode project file itself. I can't find any way of getting version history for the other files.
Even worse, the only way I can get updates from SVN is to use the Repositories command on the SVN menu, and tell it to check out again (saying "Yes" to replacing existing files). That gives me the list of updated files and the new version number, so I can proceed with work, but it is a whole lot less than the good implementation of SVN that I had with Xcode 2.5.
And committing files to SVN also works OK. The same weird situation also exists with Xcode 3.2.3 on MacOS X.6 Snow Leopard. Do other people have this problem? Is it a problem with googlecode.com SVN? (the server we are using)
SVN should work a whole lot better than I am seeing at present, and the very frustrating thing is that last year with Xcode 2.5 it was indeed a whole lot better than this!
