Well, yes, I'd already got as far as building a file a lot like that for myself. :)

I was pointing out, though, that this only works if the enclosing custom views are themselves enclosed in a container (the content view, in your example) that they span from (the container's) left edge to right edge. Here's an example of what goes wrong if they don't.
