doc search types work oddly in Xcode 4

Here's something I just noticed: In the Xcode 4 documentation window, a Contains or Prefix search on UIViewController omits a whole bunch of results that an Exact search finds. But the word being found is the same in all cases: "UIViewController". Maybe I missed something in school, but my understanding is that if a word *is* "UIViewController", that word most certainly *contains* "UIViewController". m.
