Xc4 as default?

  • Subject: Xc4 as default?

Hello,

I have tried up and down, high and low to make Xcode 4 the default application for my .xcodeproj Projects. However, Finder does not seem to care and when I double click a project, it is opened with Xcode 3.

I have told Finder to open all files with Xcode 4 (which, for me, lives in /Developer/Applications/Xcode.app), but Finder does not seem to care: The files are still opened with Xcode 3 (which ilves in /Xcode 3.2.6/Applications/Xcode.app).

I have even tried to see if I can set that with LaunchServices, but got as far as the default role handler. I did not see how I can connect that Bundle ID ("com.apple.xcode") to a specific app in the file system.

Any ideas?

Alex
