On xcode 4
Select the NIB warning. The view should be displayed.
Make sure the utility view is displayed (click the rightmost segment of the view segment control in the toolbar).
Select the file inspector icon (the leftmost one in the utility view).
In the Interface Builder Document inspector set the Deployment to 10.6 or whatever.
If the deployment is say 10.5 and you select features only available in 10.6 and above then you get the warnings.
Ideally this setting should automatically sync to the project deployment.
