Dear list,
I have a very strange problem. On one of my development machines the iOS simulator won't run any app, not even the built-in ones (contacts, settings, safari, etc). If I click on an app to launch it, I see the beginnings of the launch but it crashes immediately and drops back to the springboard.
I've tried:
1) deleting ~/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator
2) deleting iphone simulator plists from ~/Library/Preferences
3) reinstalling Xcode 4.1
4) reseting the simulator from "iOS Simulator -> Reset Content and Settings..."
5) running the simulator stand-alone (i.e., not from Xcode)
and nothing helps.
I have iOS Simulator Version 4.3 (238.2).
Does anyone have an idea what else I might try to do?
Best wishes,
Martin
