I find the Refactor functionality in Xcode slightly better than nothing, but only slightly. It often does things in a very half-baked way. For example, if you rename a method, appropriate changes are not made in the classes that call that method. If you rename a property, a corresponding outlet in a nib is not changed. And so on. m.
