Thank you, Bill.  I have a similar script for Apple Help Viewer which I call "Help Viewer Hammer".  I've added yours to my Xcode User Scripts and called it "Hammer the Hammer" (referring to Xcode's icon).

In your third path, /tmp/$USER, do you mean that you remove your entire Build Directory?

Or do you mean the Intermediate Build Files path?

Or both?

So it looks like no one can confirm how Xcode remembers deleted Resources.  I suppose it could be hidden somewhere in those caches which Bill suggests to delete.
