Rez tool: SysError 0 during read

Hi all, I am trying to use Rez tool to change the icon of a file. I tried this code found on the net (http://www.amnoid.de/icns/makeicns.html).

|/*echo "read 'icns' (-16455) \"<source.icns>\";" | /Developer/Tools/Rez -o<target_file>
/Developer/Tools/SetFile -a "C"<target_file>*/
|


The problem is that always returns me this error:
/*
/Developer/Tools/Rez - SysError 0 during read.*/

I found a previous thread that was already mentioning this issue:

But unfortunately the solution proposed by Chris didn't solve the problem for me.

Do I miss something?
