Crashing Creating a New UI Class

This is the 3rd time this has happened. My Xcode4 project ends up in some kind of a bad state and the only way I can get out of it is to rebuild the project from scratch.
I select one of my group folders and right-click and select "New File..." I select the "UIViewController subclass" and it doesn't matter what combination of choices I try for "ViewController TableviewController,xib file" I press "Next" and "Internal Error"
Someone care to tell me that this is 'known issue' and that it will be fixed in the next release? _______________________________________________
