Xcode Install After Lion Upgrade

After the Lion Upgrade, you are requested to install the update of Xcode which is installed from the App Store.
I have had the same behavior on two different machines (iMac-24 and Macbook Pro). The iTunes Helper box pops up to say something like "must quit iTunes to continue with Xcode install" or something like that. Only problem is that iTunes is not running and if it is not running how do I quit it. I mean, I checked the Activity Monitor and I could not find an iTunes image running or anything that I thought might be iTunes.
The result is that the whole install just hangs and the only way to quit it is to kill off the processes. My second attempt on the iMac did install Xcode successfully without ever complaining about the iTunes that wasn't there. I will be trying my second attempt with the Macbook Pro in a minute.
Anyone else see this behavior? Is it something I did? _______________________________________________
