Hi,

I'm trying to compile Asterisk 1.8.5.0 for Mac OS 10.7 with gcc version 4.2.1 (Based on Apple Inc. build 5658) (LLVM build 2335.15.00).
Compiling fails with the following error:

ld: symbol dyld_stub_binding_helper not found, normally in crt1.o/dylib1.o/bundle1.o for architecture x86_64

I also tried to compile as 32 bit (-m32) - but it fails with a similar error.

I guess that compiling with GCC 4.0.2 could work (as it does with Snow Leopard).
Do you agree? If yes, do you know a resource for getting a GCC 4.0.2 installer package?

Thanks in advance,
Yves
