Can't get rid of expired dev cert

  • Subject: Can't get rid of expired dev cert

My developer cert expired. I delete it from the keychain, and all is well. But Xcode (3.2.6) complains:

CodeSign error: Certificate identity 'iPhone Developer: My Name (A hex string here)' appears more than once in the keychain. The codesign tool requires there only be one.

I do have two certs with the same hex string, the one I just made, and the expired one I'm trying to delete.

If I delete it from Keychain Access, quit & relaunch Xcode, it reappears in Keychain Access.

I see only one developer identity inside the Organizer under my name.

Any idea what's going on here?

Thanks,
Rick
