Active Executable simulator setting

I'm working on a universal iPhone/iPad app with a bunch of other developers. I work on the iPad stuff, they work on the iPhone stuff. Every time I update, my selected Active Executable returns to running in the simulator under iPhone. I need to change that to run in iPad.

Is there any way to get Xcode to just always default to running in the sim in iPad mode, without affecting the default for the other engineers?
