Xcode 4: NIB files refuse to edit -- Carbon?

2nd problem (compiling getting stuck infinitely on recording phase is the #1 problem for me, on any project I try): None of my NIB files bring up the resource editor. I'm guessing this might be because it has carbon controls in it? If so, is this something that will be fixed?

Could the carbon nature of my apps be the problem? They are all meant to be cross platform so they are written in straight C with carbon and if so I'm going to be stuck with the old XCode it looks like. I can probably try to slowly pull anything carbon out of it that I can.

I really want to use this but so far I can't get anything to seem to work, sadly.
