Perl coding in XCode4

Hi,

I like the new XCode4 layout. Am considering using it for Perl coding too.
I like the autocompletion support for Perl. But I miss variable highlighting.

I consider this as a bug since the XCode editor prefs "Fonts and Colors" specifies a 'Other Instance Variables and Globals' which should be applied for variables and class instances..

Right ?
