Try this sequence of actions.
Open project window only (one window open).
Open a source file in another window (two windows open).
Close the project window.
At this point, I'm not sure how to reopen the project navigator in its original position. Everything I've tried so far opens the project navigator in the source file window, not at its original position. I could be wrong, but I think this is the problem referred to in the previous emails. If you ever close the project navigator before you close all source windows, Xcode will only remember the location of the last source windows.
