Xcode 4 editor animations

Is there a way to completely disable the popup animations in the source editor (like for code completion choices)? I find the animations are really cute and all but also extremely distracting because they take way to long to complete (I'd say they could easily be cut down to 1/2 or 1/3 of the current duration). After all I'm not here to watch an animation over and over, I want to get my work done.

That's even more true for the vanishing popup alpha animations, they should vanish instantly, it's not helping that they can be watched vanishing.

I'm not arguing to get rid of them, just to speed them up considerably, or an option to disable them entirely.

If there's a defaults setting for that, what's its name?

Regards
Markus
