Xcode 4 and DERIVED_FILE_DIR

  • Subject: Xcode 4 and DERIVED_FILE_DIR

I have a project that uses DERIVED_FILE_DIR to build some intermediate files in a script phase. This was working well in Xcode 3.x, however Xcode 4 complains that this directory does not exist, and it seems to be true that this is never created. The variable DERIVED_FILE_DIR is still documented, so why is this not created anymore? Is this a (known) bug?

thanks,
Christiaan
