CrashReporter limits

  • Subject: CrashReporter limits

TN2123 says: "Each crash log is written to a separate file. ... To prevent unbounded disk use, CrashReporter limits the number of crash log files for any given combination of user, process name and host name. The current limit is 20."

Is there any way to get the pre-10.5 behaviour on 10.6, i.e. all logs being appended to a single file per process? Failing that, a way to remove / increase the 20 file limit?
