Xcode 4 and LLDB problem

I¹m new to Xcode 4 and even newer to LLVM 2 and LLDB but this problem using
them still seems genuine. [Cocoa app targeting Snow Leopard.]

In a standard AppController delegate, I bring up a dialog with an OK button
then use it modally via a menu item:

- (IBAction)doDlg:(id)sender
{
   [NSApp runModalForWindow:mLabelDlg];
}

No problems to this point. In fact, no problems at all unless I enable the
breakpoints in the AppController code. When I do, the modal dialog works as
intended up until I hit the OK button which triggers an action in the
AppController.

- (IBAction)dlgOK:(id)sender
{
   [NSApp stopModalWithCode:0];
   [mLabelDlg orderOut:self];
... // read two NSTextFields

This action happens normally but almost immediately ( in DlgOK: ) I start to
get error messages as follows:

-[AppController count]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x2000a6580
// sent to the AppController

I get more of these for each step-over in the debugger (LLDB). To repeat,
with the breakpoints off, I do not get this error. FWIW, if I copy the
project and open it in Xcode 3.2.6, I do not get this error at all, even
with breakpoints on.

I have garbage-collection set to Supported but I do not have any
retain/release statements. Also, unchecking ³Release when closed² on the
dialog (in IB) has no effect.

Any tips as to what might be going on here?

Thanks.
