How to ignore iOS device in XCode4

Is there some way to tell XCode to ignore an iOS device even it XCode is open? If I have XCode open and drop my phone into the docking station for some juice the organizer jumps to the front and complains that the device is not associated with any provision. The only mention I find on Google/archives/forums is how to ignore files in XCode with <insert favorite SCM system>. While helpful, those results are not exactly what I am looking for. Any ideas where to look?

Thanks
