[SOLVED] Custom Working Directory not working for me...

Well, I tried everything - every suggestion that Fritz made too - to no avail. It always opens at "/".

So, I added code to main() to "chdir" to the same directory - and it worked! So there is something with the way Xcode determines if it can honor the Working Directory setting.

I just played around more with this. There is absolutely NO directory I can specify that works for my demo command line utility.

The ONLY possible issue I can think of is that my /Developer directory is not in the same volume as my user directory - this has been an issue in the past (running iOS apps in the Simulator suffers).

So, at least on my system this does not work at all. rdar://10447553 with demo project attached.

David

PS: no message in the log either - an error message would have been nice to know why its not honored...
