Thank you, Jens. Indeed that works, for “fopen”. But not for all man pages. A quick random sample indicates that it seems to work for the library functions in Unix Manual Section 3, but not for the sysadmin tools in Section 8, nor the file formats in Section 5.
I'll file a bug next week if no one replies with an explanation.
