Title: Layout Design of a Lion Application
I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my development machine to Lion.  I was expecting to see something like storyboards, but apparently not.  I guess that works for iOS because most designs are a (sometimes) deep tree structure of views, whereas the trend in Lion seems the exact opposite, with one giant window containing (selectable) panels for everything.  I assume this means heavy use of viewController xibs.

I’m in the process of redesigning an app that currently has a lot of windows. I know, given enough time, I can construct the biggie.  I was wondering if somewhere there is a template example available similar to what xCode uses for the big window?
