This is in xCode 4:
1. Make a copy of the project folder just in case.
2. Highlight the project name in the Project Navigator (Cmd-1) > change the name.
3. You will get a dialog box to change various files. Say yes.
Hmm, I got stuck here, and couldn't replicate these steps.
He probably meant to change the name of the project in the "Identity" section of the "File Inspector" pane.
For what it's worth, I wouldn't try this route - Xcode 4.x is still not very reliable, and many of the more infrequent used features do not work properly. In fact, exact this feature may render your project unusable - as it happened to me in a more recent version of Xcode. Just setup a new project from scratch. |
